Altair 8800 running 4K BASIC
Emulation of an Altair 8800 currently running 4K BASIC. This BASIC interpreter was written for the 8080 and doesn't work on the Z80, it gets into an endless loop somewhere. Please note that one of the sense switches is in upper position. The BASIC interpreter reads the sense switches to determine the I/O ports used for the tty.

Altair 8800 running 8K BASIC
In 2014 I added a 8080 emulation to z80pack, so that the machines now can run vintage software not working with a Z80, like Micro-soft BASIC for the Altair 8800.

Altair 8800 running ROM monitor
Emulation of an Altair 8800 currently running a ROM monitor program. Please note the address switches, the program starts at address 0FD00H and the start address must be toggled in, before the program is started.

Altair 8800 running CP/M 2.2
The Altair machine running CP/M 2.2 with the original boot and BIOS code for the Tarbell floppy disk controller from 1982.
